Shareholders of the Hilton Hotels Corp have approved the selling of the company for 20.1 billion USD to the American Blackstone Group. The Blackstone takes over the Hilton's debt which is around 7 milliard USD, so the total cost is 26 USD.

Ana Hotels // 04/19/2007

The Japanese airline ANA agreed it to sell 13 hotels to the American investment bank Morgan Stanley for 2.4 billion USD. Financial experts think that this transaction is first of all for ANA advantageous, since the total purchase price of the hotels is 280 billion JEN while their total accounting value is only about 130 billion. However Morgan Stanley wants to extend his Japanese investments notably.

80 new hotels within 5 years - Warimpex in expansion // 04/04/2007

Warimpex the Austrian real estate company, nowadays registered at the London Stock Exchange AIM has entered into a joint venture contract with the french hotel management company Louvre Hotels. According to the contract the two companies would build up a low cost hotel chain in Central Europe within the next 5-7 years with an investment of about 300-500 million Euros.
